Key Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging learning content for instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), e-learning, self-paced learning, and blended learning environments.
  • Create instructional materials, presentations, job aids, reference guides, graphics, interactive learning activities, training simulations, and other technology-enabled learning resources.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, business leaders, and technical teams to validate content accuracy and ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Select appropriate instructional approaches, delivery methods, and development models based on project objectives, timelines, and learner requirements.
  • Manage instructional design projects involving multiple deliverables, competing priorities, and complex business requirements.
  • Advise and support trainers in interpreting course evaluation results and improving training delivery and learning outcomes.
  • Train internal team members on the effective use of classroom materials, virtual training tools, and learning environments.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, communicate project updates, and present recommendations to stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Continuously review and refresh training materials to reflect changes in business processes, policies, procedures, and learning requirements.

Required Skills / Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Communications, Behavioral Sciences, Training and Development, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in instructional design, curriculum development, course development, or employee training and development.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, educational psychology, and instructional theories.
  • Experience developing instructional content, training materials, demonstrations, presentations, and technology-enabled learning products.
  • Experience conducting training needs assessments, researching subject matter, defining learning objectives, and translating complex processes into easily understood learning content.
  • Experience evaluating training effectiveness, analyzing learner feedback, and improving learning products and delivery methods.
  • Working knowledge of LMS platforms, including creating learning activities, assigning training, and generating reports.
  • Experience designing learning solutions for classroom, online, virtual, self-directed, or blended learning environments.
  • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational, planning, project coordination, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, influence others, and guide team members toward shared objectives.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and database software.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain high-quality deliverables.

  • Exposure to learning experience design (LXD), digital learning technologies, and modern e-learning development practices.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide training initiatives or instructional design projects involving multiple stakeholders and complex deliverables.
